Is there any way to fix this on windows 11? I'd try to run the game and it would not display the game and crash as soon as it tries to run it. It's an issue you see a lot in open-world games like this, but Web of Shadows offends more than other games in the genre. Even Spider-man 2 had more variety in its distractions. So there you go. Web of Shadows is a fantastic game with some notable shortcomings that keep it from absolute perfection.

It may be the last open world Spidey game for a long time, and therefore the best, since Beenox is now thee exclusive Spider-Man developer and their focus is much more linear and focused. In my opinion, Web of Shadows ties in quality with Shattered Dimensions for best Spider-Man game on the current generation consoles.

It's strengths are SD's weaknesses, and vise versas. I'd definitely recommend Web of Shadows to any fan of Spider-man and open world games alike. It is exceptional in the ways you want from a Spider-Man video game, but you have to go in with the right mindset so its problems don't grate too much on your patience. I certainly enjoyed it, enough to actually get every achievement and gamerscore points, something that merits mention because I never enjoy a game enough to do that.

Only my favorite games get that time and attention from me. My recommendation: rent it or buy it cheap, let the virtual breeze pass you as you swing past skyscrapers, and immerse yourself in it.

I haven't beat it yet but it is challenging and I find myself lost in the game for at least a couple hours at a time. The only thing I don't like is the voice acting it is horrible.

This game has all the pluses of the past Spiderman games and then some, and a few new downsides too. You get to play in both black and regular costumes and are able to switch on the fly and your fighting skills change depending on which you are.

The fighting takes a bit to get used to, but is great once you do. You have plenty of side missions to play through and as you progress, they change a bit. The downsides are that there can get to be a lot on screen that'll cause lag. Just bad. Why would you put out a game that was so unplayable?

Graphics-fine, SOME of the voice work- fine, cameos- fun, original story-great, combat- great mostly! Gameplay is all that matters to me and it sucks! The enemies are constant and never stop spawning.

The movement, camera, navigation, wall crawling, and targeting are the worst I have ever seen in a game! Just getting around or figuring out where you're going is a nightmarish experience that no one should have to suffer through! And the escort missions.

These are some of the worst and most difficult I've ever encountered in a game! Also the numerous glitches and annoyingly long, boring repetitive missions. And then there's the collectibles. A thousand. There are a thousand collectibles in this game and you have to collect every one of them to fully upgrade!

They're scattered all over the huge map! I gave this WAY more time and effort than it deserves, and that's only because I am a Spider-man fanatic! The enemies are infinite and your patience has to be the same when playing this!

Definitely one of the best spidey games out there it has a few glitches nothing game breaking though like Wolverine running into a car but I use the blacksuit and threw it away the game did freeze on me a couple times but that could just be my console anyways would highly recommend for the story and gameplay.
